Prof. dr hab. Kazimierz Niemczyk appointed the President of the European Skull Base Society (ESBS).
We are pleased to inform that during the 13th European Congress of the Skull Base Surgery prof. dr hab. Kazimierz Niemczyk was appointed the President of the European Skull Base Society (ESBS).
The event was held in Warsaw from 19 to 21 April 2018 and was chaired by Kazimierz Niemczyk – the head of the Department and Clinic of Otorhinolaryngology at the Medical University of Warsaw.
Appointing prof. Niemczyk the President of the ESBS is is an expression of appreciation for his achievements, as well as high commitment and skills of Polish specialists associated in the Polish Skull Base Surgery Society (PTChPCz).
The ESBS is an organization of neurosurgeons, otorhinolaryngologists, maxillofacial surgeons, radiotherapists, oncologists, reconstructive surgeons, neurophysiologists and other specialists associated with this field. The Society was established in 1993 in Italy. The Polish Skull Base Surgery Society (PTChPCz) was founded in 1995. It became a part of the European network. Prof. Kazimierz Niemczyk has been the Executive Committee member since 2007.
The Skull Base Surgery Congress is the most important European meeting of specialists dealing in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies of the skull base.
